In the advent of the renaming of Sacred Heart School-Jesuit to Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu starting 2010, the SHS-J Golden Jubilee Book project aims to commemorate 55 years of Sacred Heart School-Jesuit history since its establishment as an independent institution in June 1955.

Each book set shall contain two (2) books, the first will chronicle the 55-year history of SHS-Jesuit while the second containing only fifty (50) full coloured pages which will be sponsored by generous benefactors from the school's alumni and alumnae. Both books will be hard-bound with all pages in full-colour, and enclosed in a hard case containing the school's logo.

This a joint project of the Sacred Heart School-Jesuit Alumni Association, The Sacred Heart School-Boys Batch 1985 and Basic Graphics, Incorporated. It is our collective hope that this SHS-J Golden Jubilee Book shall serve as a treasured collector's item that will inspire the future generations of leaders, teachers and students in Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu to look back and cherish the past even as they look forward to continuing the tradition of becoming men and women for others working for the greater glory of God.
